Use Your Sunroom for these 5 Kid-Friendly Indoor Crafts This Winter

The blistering cold weather, dangerous ice, and heavy snowfall during the winter months make it difficult for parents to keep their children busy. The days indoors accumulate, and it is common to find yourself allowing your children to spend hours in front of a TV or computer.  We compiled five of our favorite kid-friendly indoor crafts to use in your Sunroom this winter. ICE ORNAMENTS

There are only three supplies that are necessary to complete this colorful décor. The rest of the decorations utilized in this craft is completely up to what you can find in your backyard and within your home.

You will need boiled water (cooled), string/yarn, 6” or 8” plate of any shape, leaves, flowers, seeds, fruit, glitter, or any other natural decorative items.

STAINED “GLASS” BUNTING

With all the natural light your sunroom brings year-round, these stained “glass” bunting decorations will bring color and whimsy to any sunroom. With under 10 supplies needed to create this look, your kids will be entertained for hours decorating their unique bunting flag.

You will need white paper, a sewing machine or ribbon/glue gun, a cookie sheet, an old towel, an oven mitt, crayons, liquid or regular watercolor paint, a paintbrush, vegetable oil.
