When exploring glass for your windows, you should look for a few quality indicators, like R-Value. Your windows’ R-value will tell you how good they are at slowing heat transfer and regulating the temperature in your space.
Glass coatings that make windows self-cleaning or give them a low emissivity, or “LowE,” are popular choices for sunrooms. These coatings usually involve a silver base that better reflects infrared heat and UV lighting.
